He always hated the Water Pillar, He thought of him shit-ly. He hated how he acted towards the other Hashira, like he was better then them. It really pissed him off. Soon realising his real feelings towards the Water Pillar, he fells scum-ish. He has no idea whats wrong with him and why he has these feelings towards another man. But it is also a story of relation, many people could relate to the feelings, or things that happen, and can pull the reader in to a pit thats hard to escape. In this au, Giyuu is not the water hashira, but Sabito is. They both passed final selection but due to Giyuu's eye injury he is blind in his left eye and keeps a bandage around it. He has a mellowed out personality but smiles and expresses his emotions. Sanemi Shinazugawa is preforming the hashira training and since all ranks have to participate he met Giyuu and was instantly wooed by Giyuu's strength, he saw Giyuu as an angle to the point Giyuu kept leaving an imprint on his mind. He was an angle with an angle's smile. :)

Giyuu is with his useless boyfriend who treats him badly but manipulates Giyuu to stay with him. One night this boyfriend forces Giyuu to go with him to an underground fight ring, while they are watching the fight his boyfriend disappears and Giyuu notices and decides to act out on it. He eventually finds him in the bathroom hooking up with some, cheating on Giyuu. Giyuu gets pissed and storms off, being followed by his now ex-boyfriend who is begging for him back, they start to argue on their way out as the fight ends and the ex-boyfriend gets pissed and tries to hit Giyuu and as Giyuu is. accepting the fact he is going to get hit, something, more like someone stops the strike before it lands on Giyuu. it was the winner of the fight. He is tall, well built, covered in scars, white hair, and muted purple eyes. He was handsome and charming and dealt with the ex pretty quickly and then went to hit on Giyuu and try to ask him out but Giyuu is not entertained, thanks him, and leaves. About an hour later he has to go into work as he is called in for an emergency, one of his jobs is working as a bartender in a club, and since this club is popular he does run into someone he met only an hour before. That same fighter, he learns his name is Sanemi Shinazugawa. From that moment on Sanemi tries his best to take Giyuu out and take care of him, Giyuu is intrigued but doesn't plan to fall for him that easy.

Sanemi and Giyuu, the wind and water hashira both get paired up to go check a place out. But there's tension, Giyuu thinks Sanemi hates his guts, and Sanemi thinks Giyuu looked at him as a freak.
