The war with Gaea is over, and life as a demigod is finally as peaceful as it can get. Percy is now 18, and he is living with his mother. He goes to Camp Half Blood every day to train the newer campers. On the day of a peace summit with Camp Jupiter, the camp is destroyed and Percy's parents are killed. All the demigods in America in either of the camps are dead, except for Nico, Will, a new camper named Kaylie, Reyna... and Percy. But Percy is not the same. He is darker, harsher, more angry and powerful. His fury and sorrow at almost all of his friends and families' deaths is what fuels him now. One day, as he is mourning his friends in a graveyard, he sees a clear crystal on the ground, which takes him to a strange new place... Sophie is distraught. Finally, they are reunited when Aunt Sally decides it will be good to see Cleo and Kim along with their father. Percy has only 2 mortal cousins, one of which he has never met but is the younger sister of his other, Cleo. He cannot remember a lot about her, only that she lives in Australia by the coast and her dad is his mom's brother. When Sally decides Percy, Paul, their few-months-old baby and herself should go visit her brother, will both Cleo and Percy keep their secrets?
