After living for 20 years on a planet ruled by self-righteous technology, Captain takes it upon himself to do something about the state of his world. Humanity is long gone, a relic of the past and a tale used only as a caveat; but even without humanity, history has a way of repeating itself--over and over again... ••• My friend (@JamieRich3) and I worked on this story together; I couldn't have done it without her :) It is based off the @SevenScribe's March prompt: In a futuristic setting, technology is really advanced, but it slowly starts to turn against humanity. This story was a response to my writing group's (@SevenScribes) March prompt: A futuristic setting where technology is very advanced but slowly starts to either turn against humanity or distinction. I could not have written this story without the help of my friend @ErulisseTintalle, who came up with the original idea and helped me brainstorm everything. Special thanks for coming up with the concept and name for Toph. 🔥🧚

This is my version of the soulmate prompt, it's not quite finished, and I still have editing to do, but enjoy!

The beginning of a story I started a couple years ago, and I haven't finished but this is just a teaser.

By the age of ten, Lyric Vance had nearly given up hope of her soulmate's existence. All her friends had been communicating with their soulmates for years, ever since they first received a note on their skin. So why hadn't hers ever written back? When one day a note finally appears, Lyric doesn't know what to do-and it changes the course of her life. ☆☆☆ This story is based off a prompt I wrote with my writing group (@SevenScribes) go check out our collection "February Prompts" for more soulmate stories!
