The Avery family were one of the few truly pureblood wizarding families left in society. They took pride in a long line of thoroughly talented witches and wizards who all bore the proud status as not only pureblood, but also Slytherins. Lucas Avery was perhaps the most prominent Avery. The boy who befriended Tom Riddle and was part of the Slug Club during his time at Hogwarts. One of the first Death Eaters, he showed tremendous loyalty towards his friend and master Lord Voldemort during his first rise to power. Not only was Lucas active in his duties, he also raised two children to carry his respect into the next generation. One of his children did this with great dignity and honour... Whilst the other did not. Esmeralda (Esme) Avery never truly fit in anywhere. No matter how hard she tried. This case of isolation is perhaps what led Esme to rebel so fearlessly against what was expected against her. Then, in her sixth year at Hogwarts, she did something extraordinary. Not only was this one last desperate escape from the traumatic woes facing her at home, it also cemented her future. One fateful evening would lead Esme not only on a path of discovery but also fear and heartache. Are there any other kind of stories during Voldemort's first rise to power?

"Your stories are the only thing no one can ever take away from you," she said quietly as if just remembering something. "Then why don't you tell me your's?" the boy asked. *** Constance Foster was the girl who went pretty unnoticed through all her life. From birth when someone had left her in an orphanage to her school years at Hogwarts. The orphanage that she had lived in was led by nuns and wasn't all that excepting of the girl and her abilities as they found her odd and even dangerous in some aspects. When she was eight Constance accidentally lost control of her powers and hurt a fellow orphan, that's when the nuns decided to limit her contact with other children and call upon a man. A headmaster, who came and offered Constance a chance at a better life. From that point on her life went up, at least she thought it had. Not much time passed when Constance recieved a letter from The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where her real adventure began. The real story actually began in her fifth year, but let's leave the details for later. It was the year she found friendship and love, where she never thought to look before. ###### I'm sorry if the first few chapters aren't that good, but I'm still learning. Hope you understand. Aurelia Livierre was many things. To Remus Lupin, she was a sister. Aurelia was the first one to find out about his "furry little problem," and while he felt like nothing but a monster, Aurelia showed him that he was just as much a human as the students that walked the castle's halls. To Peter Pettigrew, she was a friend. Whenever Peter felt left out or ignored, Aurelia was quick to direct the conversation towards him, in hopes of lifting his spirits. To James Potter, Aurelia was someone he could confide in. Although his admiration towards Lily Evans was blatantly obvious, Aurelia was the first one James seeked when he came to terms of how she truly felt about Lily. Her words of encouragement, however, had slightly inflated his ego, and the next day he had openly admitted his love towards Lily Evans, which left a fuming Severus. To Sirius Black, Aurelia was all those things. Admittedly, he was overprotective when it came to Aurelia, which was a bit odd - and rather hypocritical - considering the fact he got into more trouble than the Prewetts. Whenever he witnessed a Slytherin berate Aurelia on being a blood traitor, or reprimand her for hanging out with 'mudbloods,' he would immediately come to the rescue. But to Regulus Black - to him, it was impossible to put into words how he felt about the Ravenclaw. In fact - he couldn't string a full sentence on how to describe the ethereal beauty. Aurelia Livierre was just as much a mystery to him as he was to her. All rights other than my original characters sadly go to J.K. Rowling Cover: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/682365781037670246/

Throughout her life, Diana Greengrass was raised to hate all Muggles and Muggleborns, fear half-breeds such as werewolves, believe that Divination was a useless class, and to detest the idea of romance and falling in love. Although Diana never expected that all her beliefs would change in a single year. That was until she met a mysterious boy in Diagon Alley, named Remus Lupin. It was mysterious, because on their first encounter, only a few weeks before the start of their fifth year, Diana experienced something that terrified her: the moment she accidentally touched Remus's hand for the first time, Diana felt a cold and dark feeling rush through her body. Thinking that the mysterious boy had probably jinxed or cursed her, Diana ran away from him, unaware that the vision she just had was going to change her life forever.
