While performing under the ring name Jerome Malice, he has won the NXT Championship and the North American Championship. But after losing both to "All Ego" Ethan Page his young career at just the age of 23 is caught in a limbo. However, over time, during her time of grief and visa application processes, Stephanie starts to fall for Miguel, seeing him as more than a friend after all of the things he's done for her.
