Eddie almost dying had been an awakening for Richie, he realised he could not lose Eddie, Eddie meant the world to him, he had always questioned the way he was attracted to Eddie before, and his sexuality too. 1984 after a fight with his girlfriend at a stupid party Steve runs into Eddie Munson. He tries to avoid him after feeling butterflies but he blames it on the weed. But when the supernatural and his home life become to much why is is first thought to see eddie?

As Eddie goes into his second round of Senior Year, he finds himself caught into a situation he would have never imagined himself in...friends with Steve Harrington. Somewhere in the multiverse, season 4 was Steddie confirmed...so I wrote a story about it. It follows some of the plot from the season, but with newer content based off the changes that I've made. With that being said there will be some spoilers from the original plot. -THIS BOOK IS GOING UNDER EDITS TO BE BETTER! Or as normal as it could be after saving the world for the numerous time in a row. Though the only one who isn't used to this routine is Eddie Munson. Who was a freak before and now a huger freak who's also expected to just deal with the events that happened to him like the others had. With a group of teenagers who also don't know how to cope its a bit obvious none of them would be doing it in a healthy way. But when Eddie is their reality check that not everyone is the same, Steve is the one that clicks with Eddie the most out of them. Going on a journey of finding things to help Eddie heal, from going to the movies to even binging out on junk food something slowly starts to click in Steve's brain. That maybe it wasn't the girls he was having a problem with. Maybe it was him, who was the problem. Or Steve helps Eddie recover mentally and emotionally to the best of his ability while Eddie helps Steve with the mental block he's been dealing with for months. ___________ 43,946 words #1 in RobinBuckley 7/22/22
