Everyone at school knows Andrew Jennings. Missing an arm. Openly gay. But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. And as the two boys begin to connect over their shared grief, depression, and teenage angst, they might just discover a little pocket of happiness for themselves -- if they're willing to fight for it. Katrina was raised to be a nobleman's perfect little daughter but when a hurricane sinks her ship she is rescued by the most notorious pirate in the world. Rachel panted, trying to control herself as waves of pain spread through her collar bone. A tear streaked her cheek, but she viciously wiped it away before it could hit the ground. She wasn't going to cry. She pushed herself up, holding her bleeding shoulder as she looked off to where it had gone. Don't worry, she assured herself, you'll never have to see it again. ♦️ ♦️ ♦️ Other than the fact that her dad is a cryptid tracker for the government, Rachel's life is pretty normal. She goes to high school, has a friend, baby-sits every Saturday, plays the cello... Pretty normal. But one night when her dad gets attacked by two cryptids who have been known to kill, she swears to avenge him. She captures one of them, but in the end lets it go. Rachel's not too sure why, but she finds it and starts taking care of it, trying to nurse its broken leg back to health while also trying to find and appease the other. Now with two cryptids on her hands as well as a toxic relationship, her only friend that is drifting apart, and a strange bond with one of the creatures that just keeps growing, she must try to protect the cryptids as well as keep her sanity. Maybe they aren't as bad as everyone says. *THIS IS A REWRITE *COPYRIGHT NOTICE *This cover was made by @L-S-Willow. Go check them out! :D
