Once again, Arthur and the knights make the wonderful decision to go on a hunting trip. To no one's surprise, something is bound to go wrong. They are met with an ambush and a mysterious sorcerer with a pair of magical cuffs. Instead of putting them on Arthur, which is what everyone expected, she decides to give them to Merlin instead. Unbeknownst to all of them, the cuffs are made to control one's magic and bind it to another's command. How will Arthur and the knights react? And what does she want with them? *** Descriptions are not my thing but here you go! Important things to note: - Takes place after season 3 - Uther's alive, but not really useful (kind of went crazy after Morgana's betrayal) - Lancelot's alive!!! I think that's about it. A bunch of oneshots and escalated one shots about BBC Merlin :D Nearly all of it is Merthur with only a few exceptions. The stories are not connected to one another, they can be read separately. Longer stories are updated in order. (All the art is mine btw. unless i say it isn't.(If not, it's credited with permission of the artist) :)) TW:// I'm putting warnings ahead of the individual chapters that may contain triggering content.

Merthur AU (angel!Merlin and human!Arthur). Merlin is a young angel and doesn't understand many things. When he discovers a pond in heaven through which he can see Earth though, everything changes. For the first time, he sees a human - Arthur Pendragon. And from that moment he knows that he wants to protect him. When Arthur is in danger, Merlin accidentally ends up on Earth while trying to help him. Now he must stay in Camelot and befriend Arthur until other angels find him and bring him home. Their growing love is forbidden though. What can Merlin do now? Leave and never talk to Arthur again or stay and die? This was my first Merthur AU, written in August 2017. The story is set in season 1 during 1x04 The Poisoned Chalice. Merlin speaks Latin a bit (but I have like zero experience with that language so I used an online translator). The translation will be at the end of the chapter.

Merlin has a secret he won't let anyone find out, least of all King Arthur. His past was an abyss of darkness and pain, resulting in his powerful magical ability. He doesn't want to tell anyone the truth. But something is waiting for him, something from his past that bursts out of his memory and dusts off all the cobwebs, trying to expose his deepest secrets. Will he cave under the pressure and tell the truth? Can he even figure out the truth for himself? Or will he shoulder it alone, risking the fate of disappearing into his past forever? Merlin holds a deathly tight grip on his secrets... Will he strangle himself in the process?

Merlin is injured in a battle, but what will Arthur think when he wakes him up the next day, acting as if nothing happened. How is Merlin's spirit walking around, how is he still alive, and what will Arthur do when he learns these answers?
