I took a deep breath and closed my eyes as the music blared so loudly I could barely even hear my own thoughts. The bass vibrated hard throughout my bones, my heartbeat matching pace with the beat. I reached out and wrapped my hand around the back of her neck and pulled her forward. I felt her giggle as I pressed my lips against hers, letting my tongue trace her bottom lip seeking out his blood that was painting her lips. The feeling of ecstasy hit me the moment I tasted his blood on her mouth. My head fell back as I let the power of his blood overwhelm my senses once again, electricity rushing through my veins. It was only then that I noticed the dark, ominous outline of a man in the corner of the bar. His arms were crossed over his chest and he was watching me with a penetrating gaze. A smirk twitched on the corner of his mouth when our eyes locked together. I heard myself gasp at the realization of what was about to happen. He's here, I thought. I knew I was about to be punished for not listening, but any punishment he gave me would be worth just one more taste of the scarlet kiss only he could give me.
