The Church lives by the laws of their ancient deity, believed to be the one to give and take life, as well as guide souls to the afterlife. Throughout history, they've visited kingdoms which have rose and fell over time to judge them. If they are worthy of their goddess' blessing then the Church leaves, and its believed that the kingdom receives good fortune and prosperity. If not, well...
