This is about a boy named Hiccup who disappeared on the sea. Astrid never got to know him. His father is depressed, and won't come out of his house. The villagers are acting weird becouse of their leader. Gobber is not talking to anyone. How could one boy effect so many people? When Astrid is on the beach to think, she meets a boy. They get to know each other. Astrid thinks the boy is slightly familiar.... And now... Read the story! xD

Everyone in the town knew him; the screw up; the fish bone; the freak. No one knows what he was really like; a side only they knew. He was brave, kind and full of wonder. Hiccup did not eat with the Vikings; nor did he fight on their side and he definitely didn't want to die for them. Hiccup was an unknown outcast; hidden by the masks he would hide himself under. He hid and fled knowing no one could ever find out who he was; what he was. The black wings and scales, the green slit eyes, the tail and ears only a dragon could have; they sawed across the sky in silent grace. In the sky he was free, here he was free.
