The land of Fiore has been thriving for a long time. In recent years dragon's have begun to plague the land. The guilds have barely been able to fight against them. The leader of the dragons is non other then the chaos dragon, Acnologia and his only son, Natsu. About a few weeks ago Lucy Heartphilia joined the guild to help in defending against dragon attacks. One day Acnologia sends Natsu to finish the job. The dragons start by attacking Magnolia primarily to wipe out Fairy Tail. In the middle of the battle while instructing the other dragons, Natsu gets distracted when he sees Lucy and blacks out. He was shot out of the sky and taken into Fairy Tail's custody. He wakes up in captivity and is treated terribly by the guild except for one person. One person that changed his life forever. The Celestial Mage who stole and calmed his angry flames and his heart. They both have their secrets, and when all is said, they stay together. For years, they are hunted by both dark and legal guilds until one day, Natsu is badly hurt. So much that he might die if he is not treated. Desperate, Lucy goes to the nearest town, but no one wants to help the child of Acnologia. As a last resort, Lucy goes to the town's mage guild, hoping someone would be willing to help. Fairy Tail is her last hope to save Natsu, but at what price?
