This story is inspired by and set in the same universe as Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Catherine Haynes and Tabitha Hill have been friends for life, but now that their freshman year of high school is starting, things seem to be changing. One evening, a mysterious pigtailed stranger arrives at her bakery and seems to threaten Haruka's peaceful magical girl life. She eventually decides to confront this stranger in an attempt to keep the normality of her current lifestyle... and achieves a completely unexpected result. In this tale of two magical girls, will Haruka's life ever be the same as before?
