There are days where I get so confused or befuddled that my thoughts all come out in puddles, raining backwards and forewords, sideways and upways I pick up a pen and I pick up a notebook and when I'm done the whole world looks A little brighter A little cleaner A little straighter My rhymes can be wonky and my syllables can be wack, but I feel better And that's that. So, I feel like, I'm not as great as everyone tells me I am, but I still love writing poems. I write a poem probably when I feel like people won't stop to listen to what I have to say. So I put it into a catchy poem that pulls my people in and keeps them reading to the end.
