M/N - used to be one the star players in his middle school days, letting his school have the reputation of being one of the best junior schools in volleyball. This in turn caused him to get all the scholarships from all the schools he applied, his dream school being of course, Shiratorizawa. During his first year, he was known as the "Rising Ace of Shiratorizawa" with the "Ace" title going to Ushijima. He always came up short, confidence issues, personal demons pushed him to his limits where it caused him to have a mental collapse on one of the biggest stages in his budding volleyball career.
