Daniel Mitchell grew up the son of a dead rocker and a mother working as an animator, a very unlikely combination. His life was filled with contentment and pure unquestionable delight, his mother showered him with toys and affection as best as she could due to her constant absence. As he grew older people recognized him and always brought his dad up much to his mothers chagrin. He attempted playing and singing with a guitar but comparisons to his father were drawn constantly. At the age of eighteen he's had enough of living in the shadow of the Shadows. He packed up and left. Starting his trek across the United States, playing in random clubs and sitting in on college classes. Not only is he trying to find himself but also the Shadow who used to be his father. (This story is set in an alternate 1970's with the rock bands of the 80's-2010's existing in the same year.)

The end of everything beautiful and happy ended when Gavin opened his mouth at the lunch break at work.

Desmond, James, Dallas and Ryan. Those four names meant nothing to the world. The name "The Heavy Shadows" were nothing but a weird pairing of words. Each member came from different walks of life. A poor dreamer, a guitar virtuoso, a troublemaking bassist and a depressed drummer. When Desmond, Dallas and Ryan formed a band during school, they never knew how this would impact them. For James Dallas and Ryan it was a chance of a lifetime. For Desmond, it was the start of a Long and Winding road which will test ultimately his emotional and physical limits. (The story is in a warped reality of the 1960's where modern bands and bands from the 1970s-2000s such as Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Green Day, Steve Miller, Eagles and all those other rockers are in this reality of the 60's so, culture is mixed here)
