It's Katara's first year at Wan's Bending Academy. A school where only a select few from all over the four nations are accepted and get to learn from the best masters. Being the last bender from the south pole, Katara is eager to learn more about the ancient, sacred art of bending. But it turns out, life at the academy might not be as easy as she thought. Katara was taken to the fire nation when she was young and has been there ever since. After she escapes, she wanders around the fire nation using her healing abilities to help the needy. Prince zuko heard rumors of her and set out to look door her. They bump into each other as spirits. Two spirits destined for each other.

The war ended 6 years ago. It's been two years since Zuko and Katara have seen each other. The Gaang tries to see each other as much as possible, but as time goes on, it gets harder. During a much needed break, the Gaang reunites to celebrate Suki and Sokka's engagement. When an inconvenience joins the group, Katara and Zuko are faced with the decision to either give into their feelings which have been bubbling under the surface for nearly 7 years, or do what their respective nations expect of them.
