At this point, Sinbad and Judal had given up on finding their soulmates again. Having already without knowing bumped into them a while ago and never knowing who it was they'd decided to just forget about even trying. Judal was Sinbads last guess at a soulmate, given that they'd been enemies since meeting. So you could imagine the surprise on the man's face when Judal showed up on his doorstep one night; Beaten, shivering and spouting incomprehensible words before collapsing on the spot. Anyone with common sense would have turned away somebody who hated them, but Sinbad felt a dull throbbing in his chest that told him he just couldn't bring himself to do that.
