Josephine Jennings was one of those heads screwed on tightly, smart, kind, beautiful, all encompassing types of people. The types of people who knew what they were after, and would stop at nothing to get there. The types of people who rarely, if ever, derailed their plans. But plans, like people, were fortuitous. And for her, it was one night, one storm, one decision, and suddenly she was completely, and utterly, off-kilter. Ϟ a cowboy, a doctor, and a short(ish) story about fear, love, making mistakes, and learning to heal

Jakob Laurent was an intensely quiet, no-nonsense type of man. Callan Grant was a sweet, slightly eccentric, small-business owner. ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆ Callan needed to take some extra security precautions, but she could have never predicted that it would come in the form of a tall, brooding, and unbelievably stunning man. A stalker, a bodyguard, three iced lattes per day, and a heap of loungewear. Didn't that sound like the start of something wonderful? ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

The cold man fell in love with the kind girl because he knew that she deserved the world and that he wanted to be the one who gave it to her. ♡ Alette Faye was a sweet girl. She was exceptionally kind and had an air of simplicity. Between her part-time job at the bakery, her classes, her time spent tending to her flowers and walking in the fields, she didn't get the opportunity to experience much. Her past created fears in her that she seemingly couldn't overcome, and then she met him. For when she meets him, she should have run away in fear, but she stayed. She stayed and she opened her big heart for a man who found his heart, just for her. ♡ This story is a little cliché, a lot unedited, and super simple.

Winning games. Cheers. Trophies. Spotlight. College Football star, Golden Boy, and Browning University's Quarterback, Holden Reyes has all eyes on him as he runs beneath the stadium lights. Runs to the winning score. Runs to the partying. Runs to the spotlight. Runs to the escape exit of his own desolate childhood waiting room. Holding pens. Stories. Apprehensiveness. Hidden. Winona Bennett, living life through the shadows of her made up worlds and mind's creations. With a supermodel for a mother and sister, she is the silhouette to the shadows of their spotlight shined gleaming faces. She wasn't built for the spotlight, rather just secretly walking past her writings in the hands of others on the streets of Manhattan. Oh, the thrill. Romero, struggling to push through the day to day life of his world: court bills, money, family, money, the past, money, his own mind, and more money. Carmen has been pushing to become a lawyer her whole life; wanting to be taken seriously in a field dominated by men is not easy though, and if putting up a front to be taken seriously is what it takes, then so be it. A certain struggle comes with feeling as though you have to act a certain way versus who you really are. Except a sensitive heart of gold can't be hidden behind a brick wall forever. Two people, walking across the same tight trope on opposite ends, trying not to fall. One going against the law and one trying to be the law. One born with a silver spoon and one suffering from the abrasions of life. Both trying to survive in worlds not made for them. Except everything in this world overlaps; bridges connecting different lives and stories. It's just a matter of realizing you're not too different from the person on the other side of that bridge. "I hate you." "Are you sure? I don't think I got a fair chance." "I am." "Are you very sure?" "Has anyone ever told you that you're full of yourself?" "No." "Well, they should." ·̩̩̥͙**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*·̩̩̥͙ Her definition of perfect was quiet and dull. He was anything but. Theo Parker was full of life; smiles always lighting his face and a camera on him, ready to snap a photo at any given moment along with almost living at the basketball court. Smiling at anyone who looked his way. She wanted to hate him, but she couldn't find it in her to do so. He defined perfection as impossible. Until he met her. He was aware of the glares and harsh words she sent his way, but under what seemed like not so subtle hatred she was smart and caring. Camilla Moretti didn't need anyone's approval or cared about their opinions. She didn't need anyone, and he admired that. Sometimes staying is easier than leaving; but maybe leaving would've been more simple. ·̩̩̥͙**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*·̩̩̥͙ I just wish someone would stay
