They get in touch through an app designed for Deckers trying to make a last friend on their End-Day called the LastFriend app. They meet up and are fortunate to spend almost the entire day together. There were ups and downs but this will be an experience they'll never forget even if they're destined to die at the end. It's almost 9 o'clock and they're both resting in Mateo's bed back at his apartment. **highly recommend reading the book before this~ I read this book a few years ago and it instantly became my favourite. They had two options: Ignore the note and go make out in their new hot tub; or find Vincenzo and figure out what the hell was going on.
