Highest rank: #1 in Teen-Fiction and sci-fi romance, #1 mindreader, #2 humor Aaron's special power might just be the coolest- or scariest- thing ever! It's always helped with his bad-boy reputation, his rightfully arrogant all-knowing intimidation seemed to go a long way with his love life and somehow also his education. Until he met Violet, one of the smartest girls in school; a girl he's been using for years, zoning in on her mind to ultimately cheat on exams and steal the title of valedictorian. Until one day, Violet failed him. Her mind wandered all over the place- her parent's divorce, her breakup, and he couldn't help but sympathize. But Violet's a smart girl, who knows how long it'll take before she finds out. Aaron depends so much on his mind-reading capabilities that when they suddenly disappear- so does everything he hasn't worked for. His secret was like Samson and his hair, once it's told, the magic's all gone. "So this was all just a game to you . . .this whole time, you pretended to like me in order to humiliate me in front of the entire school?" An air of melancholia surrounded me, eyes watery like never before. "Were your feelings for me ever real?" There wasn't even a trace of an apologetic expression on his features as he tucked his hands in his pockets, before he gave a nonchalant shrug. The sudden urge for revenge became a prominent priority. He regarded me passively. "It's not my fault that you fell for me in the first place." he justified as he advanced my way, closing the gap between us. Unstably, I strode backwards on the concrete. ". . .stay back." I whimpered. "You're nothing but cold hearted." ·•● Two years ago, Emery Roy was tragically exposed to what some could call an intense betrayal all thanks to the originator - Dean Darnell. Everything went downward spiral after they started dating. What appeared to be a match-made in heaven, turned from blissful to disastrous the moment Dean humiliated Emery in front of the entire school, leaving her completely heartbroken. So to avoid him at all cost, she did what any person would do: transfer school. Fast forward two years later. What happens when she's returning back to Roosevelt High, for the first time during senior year? She only has a few tasks: avoid Dean and face her obstacles. The only question is will she succeed or will she get fooled again? Alexis a mortal turns out be an ancients vampires mate I ran out into the night to reach Alexis's next office before she arrived with my driver. I watch as Malcom pulls up to the curb and she hops out making her way into the office. Malcom drives off and I take a perch on top of the building across from the office so I can keep and eye out for her. I watch as she puts in her airpods and starts dancing. I love to watch her sway and dance as she cleans it's kind of hypnotic. I freeze as a new scent hits the air. A male lurking down below in the streets. I can hear his thoughts. He is watching my Alexis and has bad things in his mind. I can smell his evil intentions. I noticed my love stop cleaning and is staring out the window. So she does have sixth sense it seams she isn't as oblivious as I thought. I wait for her to turn her back and continue cleaning before I sneak quietly behind the man watching my precious flower.
