A past that even Bakugo and Midoriya would rather forget but can never escape. When they are six they are taken hostage while they were playing at the park and before they are rescued Deku gets hit by a quirk that was supposed to kill him. 'Suicide's Blessing'. There is no blessing, the quirk is a curse that destroys the will to live in the victim. But what if the Bakugo's and the Midoriya's have been hiding something else? Something even more fantastic? Like how has Deku managed to live for twelve years after the quirk hit him? While all other victims died within days if not hours of being hit? What if the true reason Bakugo bullied Deku growing up was actually to protect him from worse bullies? What if quirks were not the only type of power in the world? Is magic real? It had been years since Shouta Aizawa had seen his sister - his life led him a different path and he couldn't bare looking back. She had never resented him for it, she smiled and wished him well at every prayer. Shouta had known she'd married a man he had no respect for - Hisashi Midoriya struck him as bad news - but that was as much as he knew. So, when he found out his dear sister had passed, he thought his responsibility was as far as planning her funeral; not becoming the guardian of her child.

Izuku hated most villains, but then again, he loathed most Heros too. He had a few exemptions on both sides, but his admiration was hard to obtain nowadays. When he was a child, he would have given everything to be a hero, but those days were gone. Stolen from him. Heroes want to pretend a harsh line separates the good from the bad, but that line was much more fluid than they want to admit. Izuku knew he could never be a hero after what he had done, leaving him with one option. He chose to become the in-between. He would be both the good and the corrupt. He is Izuku Midoriya, the infamous vigilante, Chaos.

A my hero academia fan fiction where All Might didn't lose the slime monster... and Izuku, dreams freshly crushed, decides to help in a way even a "quirkless Deku" like him could. He becomes an information broker for the heroes. Because while his dream had always been to be a hero, his goal had always- and will always- be helping others, and come he'll or high water, he would not give up on that. What will however happen if the symbol of peace gives him an answer he has never though he would hear? More importantly, what will he do once he finds out he still has family out there?
