This is the first fan fiction I wrote and completed back in 2009. What if, Jerry hadn't turned Amy that fateful night? What if Charley hadn't staked the four-hundred year old vampire in his own basement? What if they had come to some sort of compromise, a truce? And what if that truce was compromised by the one man Charley never expected to see again? Will he be able to hold Jerry to his word? The character Lou is there because I haven't seen any mention of who Charley's father was and I've seen multiple different names for him made up by others so I figured what the heck. WARNING: The contents of most of the stories in this collection often involve violence, coarse language and some of them even hint at sexual content/themes. The characters portrayed in these stories are usually demons (Natural Demons and Hell Demons) and are all generally adult men in these situations however, there are cases when the characters are women. The characters are all above the ages of 19 so any time there is a hint of sexual content or violence no character is underage the age of such. These are my characters created for my story, di-moni-ak. If you do not like or approve of the content of some of the stories in this collection please don't look at and/or don't read them. I get these sorts of things can be triggering and offensive to some but I do these short excerpts for character development and post them to my deviantART account to gauge how the fans of my work digest my characters. You know, what works and what doesn't. I have decided to start posting these character works here though to try and do something different with my Wattpad rather than just regurgitating all my fan fiction here like I do with other sites I'm on. A twisted game where the stakes are your lives and the rules mean the difference between life and death. Will you figure out your rules in time or will you suffer a painful, deserved death at the hands of the malevolent Ticket Taker? For the time being, while I work on this story in its entirety anyways, I have decided to post any shorts I write for my screenplay/novel 'the Dark Carnival' here in this collection. The stories here themselves will feature, for the most part, the two main characters the Ticket Taker and Laureth; chronicling Laureth's attempts to survive in the carnival with the occasional aid from Taker. Some of these may or may not make it into the final draft of the full story but they will all be rough ideas of what I had in mind for the basic plot itself and will give people an idea of who the characters themselves are.
