Ed and Madison want two different things. Madison is a straight A student who's never smoked a cigarette or skipped class, while Ed can't be bothered to attend school half the time. Through words of encouragement and a hint of bad influence, he takes her places she'd never go on her own, while she finds herself helping him through his own bottled up demons and lack of self-confidence. Ed struggles to find happiness and love and with a little bit of hope and a handful of wishes, he might actually have what it takes to find success.

As soon as I get into the bathroom and see myself reflected into the mirror, flashbacks come to my mind. Last night I got myself into a fight. I see a bruise has started to form around my left eye. I've also got a wound on my head, the blood is already dry, that must be why the pillow is stained. Fuck. I must call Abel, he will surely remember at least more than me. I go to my bedroom again and look for my mobile phone, the battery almost run out. But it has enough to make a call. Of course, he doesn't answer. He must be sleeping off. I take a pair of boxers and an old hoodie and sweat pants and get into the bathroom. The T-Shirt I'm wearing just stinks. As soon as I take it off, the silver chain I always wear makes a little noise. I think of her.
