Midoriya Izuku stepped into the ring, ready for his fight with the dual elemental quirk user, Shouto Todoroki. The nervousness he felt stepping onto the stage was nothing compared to the regret he felt waking up in the hospital afterwards, unable to see and feeling useless in every way. He's offered a chance to have a somewhat normal life, his sight not salvageable, but his mind ready to be enhanced by a robotic implant by the name of Plexus.

Izuku's dad, Hizashi Midoriya or All For One tortured and experimented on Izuku ever since her mother committed suicide when she was two. Every time Izuku said anything or did anything that was out of line the punishments would get worse, so Izuku was a mute because she didn't want to get punished.
