Hi, I love Dear Evan Hansen. I'm a musical theatre performer and I think it's just absolutely gorgeous and I really wanted to write something for it to kind of help with my anxiety so here it is!

Evan still hasn't moved on. The death of Connor Murphy was enough to tip him over. Or was it? Evan claims he doesn't want anything to do with things that remind him of Connor. But why push those away? It's been 2 years. Year one was the worst. The only reason Evan is still alive is because he's terrified of self harm. Just because of what happened to Connor. Evan can't stand it, he can't stare at a knife or even a razor for very long without breaking down into tears. Year two was slightly better. Evan wasn't as depressed as year one. Jared was helping him cope with Connor's death. Evan did space out a lot, or even cry over something that's not even sad. I guess you could say he was like a girl on her period. Some days happy, others, pretty upset. Currently, Evan has a job, Jared's in college and they both live together. What happens when one event leads to another, and Jared finds something that might help this case. Something pretty important... "You know Connor, you look great in black, but i like you better in red." {} Evan is has social anxiety and is dealing with suicidal thoughts. Connor is dealing with a self harm and drug addiction while also having suicidal thoughts. The world is dark, pitch black even, but maybe they could find a small glow of light in each other.

Evan works at the Orchard during the summer. Connor recently survived a failed suicide attempt, so the Murphy's go to the Orchard in an attempt to sort their family out. After a fight with Larry, Connor walks away from their picnic and crosses paths with Evan Hansen. Can the two broken boys save each other? Or are they too far gone?
