All the earth is torn asunder. There used to be grass, and the sun used to be golden. Children played outside, climbing trees with smiles on their faces and grass stains on their knees. People worried about a million things that would soon be irrelevant, continuing without a clue of the disaster to come. Centuries later, what little is left of humanity survives in a society constructed beneath the surface of a glass dome, the world outside converted to little more than a desert wasteland. Survival is a routine rather than an effort, and all rules are surpassed by only one: if you want to survive, you never leave the dome. There's nothing alive out there. The radiation that soaks the earth makes sure of that. Until one day, someone finds a bloody, dust-covered handprint on the outside of the glass. Nothing will ever be the same again. Earth is dead. No one has seen the surface in five years. Earth died at the hands of pollution, corruption, and nuclear war; humanity has survived in bunkers far below Earth's radioactive surface. Now, with the bunker systems failing, humanity needs to find a way to survive. Five of the world's greatest minds left are being sent on a dangerous mission: find a way to survive on the surface or watch the human race die. Josephine was a biomedical Engineer before the world ended, but will her past impede her mission? Atlas fought his way onto the research team, and no one knows why he is there. Orion journeyed to the surface for the girl he loves, but will she ever forgive him? Jade and Sebastian want the same thing, to live without having to wear safety suits and masks and bask in the sun again. Confronted with a destroyed homeland, and haunted by secrets from their pasts, the five must fight and use their minds to survive. They always hoped to be remembered, but will they be able to save mankind?

[Teen and New Adult Zombie Apocalypse Romance] "If you would've told me the last day of our peaceful existence would be a boring Tuesday in November, I would've called you an idiot." High school senior, Casey Whitmore, is about to discover her life isn't all about graduating with honors, taking her team to the championship, or being the perfect daughter. When Casey's mother comes down with the scariest illness imaginable, she is forced to take action, but no matter which way she turns the normal solutions are unavailable. As she searches for medical treatment, Casey crosses paths with two friends who agree to help. Derek is the broody, mysterious type while Thomas is the smooth wild card. The guys couldn't be more different, but are attractive and seductive in their own way. It's not until all communication is cut off that they realize the spreading illness is no accident, and the world becomes lost in a horrific whirlwind when the dead start attacking the living. Life must go on, but with no survival skills, Casey has a lot to learn. Even though Thomas and Derek prove to be invaluable during the fallout, love is still very much alive, and emotions run wild even during the zombie apocalypse.
