Her eyes connected with his and she smiled a gentle smile. "Tousan is back." Hinata, Sakura, Ino, Tenten, Temari y Matsuri se van de la aldea después de la guerra a entrenar durante tres años volviéndose mucho más fuertes que antes. Los chicos en los tres años no tenían idea de su partida hasta que el Sexto Hokage les cuenta. Una decepción para todos es que no dejan de sentir cosas uno por el otro aunque la distancia sea lejos y no definida. Naruto el héroe de Konoha ahora siente una especie de obsesión por Hinata. Sasuke vuelve a la aldea para tratar de amar a su ex compañera Sakura. Sai a pesar de su estado no emocional de raíz Anbu le coquetea a Ino. Shikamaru ama a la problemática rubia que venció en los exámenes Chunin, Temari. Neji necesita una esposa de inmediato, y que mejor mujer que su compañera Tenten. Gaara el Kazekage está teniendo sentimientos calientes por su alumna Matsuri. Al volver ellas se sorprenden, no sólo por el regreso de Sasuke, si no por lo mucho que estos habían tenido gestos extraños con ellas desde que volvieron.
