For anyone who would like to know, this story is an insert that uses SHE/HER pronouns as that is how I am best at writing, also this was originally a shifting script when it was a draft, but I have adapted it to fit a regular insert story! For the foreseeable future, the story involves the reader having a British accent simply as I haven't changed that part of my DR script, but of course you may ignore the subtle references if it suits you! This is an alternative storyline to The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black This picks up right when Cardan takes Jude to his chambers after the she takes Taryn's place at the trial. Discovered by the High King, Jude must strike a deal with Cardan in exchange for her life. It is a different version of the story with more Jurdan time (and more spice), and a new sequence of events.
