It's been two years since the gang finally settled in their home world, Mobius. There has been nothing but peace, a sort of peace that bored Sonic and left him craving Amy's company. Everyone has just gotten used to a "normal" state of life. But when a strange ancient canine clan is suddenly after Sonic, the gang must go on a dangerous journey across Mobius, on a quest for the Gems of Hope. Will they be able to make it in time? And will Sonic and Amy's new relationship last, even when he starts to lose his sanity? After their adventure, the gang would like to relax. But one day, Sonic goes to get some things and doesn't come back until later. After that, he starts acting stranger and meaner. He soon turns from mean, to pure evil. The gang has to stop him! But they don't know what is happening! they can find the answer to why and get help from one hedgehog.....Can the gang defeat Sonic's rein? Of perhaps, it isn't Sonic; it's someone else.

Sonic did it again, he stood up Amy. He thinks he can sweet talk his way out of this one, but Amy has other plans.
