All in all, though her existence has been ignored by her father, she never lacked anything (other than, love and companionship) while she was there. It is a different matter once she entered the Crown Prince' s palace. There, her husband ignored from the very first day. She then have to face her husband's favoured one, Consort Jing Duji whom viewed her as an enemy. It gets worse once he became the Emperor. She has became the Empress, a powerless and good-for-nothing Empress whom living a reclusive life inside her own 'cold palace'. Her days passed by rather peacefully until one day where everything will change forever. Things will never be the same and she will never again be the same person.
