'Loyal' is a collection of poems that explore a wide range of emotions. Written in the midst of a deep and hollow spell of isolation and quarantine, I needed to create something; anything that would be a bright light for me. So, I started writing through my worry, my fear, my hopelessness, my joy, my cautious optimism and my grief. And, amidst all of that chaos, I tried to shine a positive light on everything that was happening. I wanted to be both loyal to my experiences and my writing.
