"A throne is just iron. An empire is built on iron, grain, and absolute discipline." She doesn't know who she was before she woke in the ashes of Khal Drogo's pyre. Her old name is gone. Her old face is forgotten. But as Daenerys Targaryen, she possesses an uncanny, instinctual grasp of logistics, power, and statecraft that no young queen should have. She wears the silks and leathers of the East, speaks with the commanding cadence of House Targaryen, and commands three growing dragons. But while the lords of Westeros bleed their lands dry fighting over a crown, Daenerys turns her back on their game. Let Westeros tear itself to pieces. The Mother of Dragons is building something that will outlast them all. Warning before you read this. it will not be like the show. I'm changing everything. Pretty much but will keep character's but they will more then likely not be like they was in the show. My name is Kara, and I'm a witch. Not the herbs-and-spells kind, either. My power is unlimited. I never get weak, I never run out of magic, and there is damn near nothing I can't do. I was perfectly content sitting at home watching Vikings when the show started pissing me off all over again. Ragnar, Lagertha, their family, the betrayals, the deaths, and one bad decision after another. I stared at the television before finally standing up. "Time to fix this shit." One little flick of my magic later, and I'm no longer watching the Viking Age from my couch. I'm standing right in the middle of it. Now Ragnar Lothbrok and Lagertha are about to meet a woman unlike anyone they have ever known. I know their future. I know who will betray them, who will die, which choices will destroy their family, and exactly what happens if no one interferes. Unfortunately for fate, I'm here now. What I didn't plan for was the way Ragnar starts watching me with that curious little smirk of his-or the way Lagertha's eyes seem to follow me whenever she thinks I'm not looking. Ragnar is fascinated by my power, my attitude, and the fact that I'm one of the few people who isn't afraid to tell him exactly what I think. Lagertha seems to like that even more. And somewhere between changing their future, fighting their enemies, and keeping their family from falling apart, I start realizing that their interest in me might be a lot more than simple curiosity. Kings can threaten me. Gods can test me. Enemies can try me. But I didn't travel across worlds to quietly watch history repeat itself. I came to change everything. And this time? Ragnar and Lagertha have a witch on their side. A witch they might both be falling for.

Fate has given her a second chance, but at what cost? As ancient forces stir and old prophecies whisper of change, Zyra must uncover the reason she was brought here before the world she now calls home turns against her. Because in a place where the line between life and death is blurred, second chances often come with a price. Has been: 6th in #alternateuniverse 2nd in #elenagilbert 4th in #stefansalvatore

Born human over six hundred years ago, she lived a brief, fragile childhood cut short by a devastating blood plague that ravaged her body from within. Alone and dying at just sixteen years old after losing her parents, she endured a painful, isolating end that left her on the edge of extinction-until a wandering vampire named Wyatt transformed her into something new. But instead of protection or guidance, she was met with rejection. Seeing her unusual abilities and human-like traits as an anomaly, Wyatt abandoned her when she was still young, leaving her to survive alone in a world she did not yet understand. For over five hundred years, Aurelia drifted through the world in isolation. Unlike most vampires, she retained human functions-she could sleep, cry, and even eat-but none of it softened the loneliness that defined her existence. She lived hidden among forests, sleeping in trees and wandering endlessly, unheard and unseen, developing extraordinary speed, strength, and an uncanny awareness of the world around her. Everything changed when she wandered into Volterra, mistaken for a human who had stumbled too far into vampire territory. Her unusual behavior and uncanny calm around danger drew the attention of the Volturi, who quickly discovered the truth-but not before Aurelia had already unsettled, amused, and intrigued them all. Instead of punishment, she was taken in. What followed was unexpected even for the ancient ruling coven: Aurelia became a cherished, unpredictable presence within the Volturi court. Fiercely powerful yet gentle in her own strange way, she brought chaos, humor, and warmth into a world defined by control and death. Feared by enemies, adored by allies, and endlessly confusing to everyone in between, Aurelia transformed from a forgotten, abandoned child into one of the most beloved-and dangerously chaotic-members of the Volturi family.

In a world that moves too fast, she's learning to breathe slowly. To feel again. To let someone touch the parts of her she thought were long gone. There are no crowns here. No thrones. Just the quiet war of learning how to be held without flinching. She doesn't beg for safety. She creates it in silence. And when she kneels, it's not for weakness- it's because she trusts. But trust has a pulse. And it just might be hers. A story of shadows softened by light, of control given, not taken. Of healing whispered through touch, and love written in silence. This isn't where the pain begins. It's where it learns to rest. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ : EMOTIONAL INTIMACY SUBSPACE SLOW-BURN HEALING TRIGGERING THEMES (VULNERABILITY, TRUST, PAST TRAUMA) 🔴 Tops: 🔴 1. So apparently, the Shadow World has rules. That's cute. I'm Ayme Espinoza. Daughter of Poseidon. No angel blood. No heavenly permission slip. No interest in kneeling for a system that wasn't built for me in the first place. And yet their runes burn brighter on my skin than they do on theirs. Demons fall faster when I'm in the room. Magic shifts differently around me. Like it knows what I am. They don't like that. Selene's my cousin. She didn't grow up in the demigod world. She grew up somewhere else - in stone castles and whispered spells and a war most people pretend didn't happen. Now she stands in two worlds at once. The one of gods... and the one of wands. She doesn't have angel blood either. What runs through her veins is older than their angels. Older than their laws. Quiet. Cold. Powerful in a way that doesn't need to shout. She's still learning this world. I'm teaching her how to survive it. Then a hunt goes wrong. Something ancient surfaces - something that doesn't bow to runes or angelic hierarchy. And it doesn't react to them. It reacts to us. Now the watching has started. The measuring. The quiet attempts to decide what we're worth. Here's the thing. You can build walls. You can write laws. You can carve symbols into your skin and call it order. But the sea doesn't kneel. And neither do I. ⚠️ I do not claim ownership over any canon characters, settings, or source material referenced in this story. All rights belong to their respective creators.
