"Some mysteries are better left unraveled." Exactly seven days after the start of 2014, a massacre had arisen. Albeit the massacre carried the typical definition of the word 'massacre,' this massacre paced excruciatingly slow, killing three people each week. The police had confirmed it-everyone who had gone missing in the small town of Calinton were dead and officially victims of the indelibly notorious and infamous massacre. They just didn't know where the bodies were. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ University student Lynn Sivan scored a job at a popular local clothing shop and noticed something quite peculiar-the mannequins looked exactly like the victims of the infamous and notorious massacre that resided in town. It only added up that the mannequins were freakishly cold and heavy, and with the help of cute co-worker Callum Abernathy, she was hell bent on finding out what exactly was going on. cover by @weeknder

REVISED 2018 Skinny, awkward, and plain ugly. That's what most people would describe Eva Farrow, a 15 year old girl yearning to be accepted and loved by her family, peers, and most of all: her best friend Vincent Parker. Unfortunately for Eva, Vince has already fallen head over heels for the beautiful brunette, Lissa Fox--who also happens to be Eva's tormentor. After witnessing the boy she loves asking her nemesis to be his date to Ball Night, Eva decides to ditch school and run away. She dashes through the woods near her neighborhood and comes across a small cabin she had never seen before. Inside, is a strange old ghastly woman who agrees to give Eva just what she wants: beauty and love, but for a price. Eva accepts, thinking the lady just wants her money, but she soon realizes exactly what she had bargained for...and it's anything but pretty. For the #JustWriteIt #OnceUponNow writing contest. (2016) Highest rank- #218 in General Fiction. Thank you to everyone who supported me in this contest. And thanks to @Fantasydreams32 for helping me come up with the title :)

I'm not who they think I am. A docile girl who meekly obeys her stepmother and stepsisters. Some kind of sick angel who cheerfully bears their mistreatment. That's what I WANT them to think. Because then they won't suspect what I'm really up to. The ball, the prince - it's all part of my plan to come out on top. Stepmother and her demented daughters will pay for every floor I have scoured, every sneer I have borne. They don't know about the white magic, how I use it to enhance myself. They can't see that my heart is black as midnight, rotten as a poisoned apple. They're about to find out.
