Stephanie Rose Barns is Bucky's younger sister. Back in the 1940s Bucky had to go to war and she was left with Steve Rogers. Steve Rogers is like another brother to her and she needs him more than anything. When he becomes Captain America and fights in the war Stephanie knows about the harsh dangers. When Steve brings a familiar face back to camp it surprises Stephanie. Bucky. Later when Bucky falls off the train Stephanie is once again left with Steve. When Steve crashes into the ice and goes under Stephanie volunteers for the next super solider program in Steve's honor. Soon she finds herself in a cold darkness. Then she wakes up 70 years later.

"You're very different, Rogers." I said in awe. "Why? Because of my poor health?" He asked. I shook my head, smiling slightly. "You have something these soldiers don't have," I pointed to his chest, "heart." Rogers gazed up into my eyes as I looked into his. I gave him a warm smile, which causes him to smile back, making his blue eyes sparkle at my grey eyes.
