When a golden light surrounded me I thought I had died. Well, died while reading my favorite book. But as it turns out I didn't pass into the world of the dead, but rather the world of dreamers. Landing in the middle of Velaris, I quickly found myself at the mercy of the Inner Circle, and one very pissy, very hot spymaster. (This is just a fun story that is in the works. I've never written fanfic before so some parts are silly and riddled with gen z jokes, while others are lyrical and deeper, and a Lil' spicy.)

Takes place after a court of silver flames. This is my take on the next book in the Acotar series. This is basically Gwyn and Az's story. I have never wrote a fanfic before so this could be bad, but I just kept seeing peoples theories for the next book so I decided to smush them all together. I love gwynriel, I have heard that a lot of people ship elain and Az. I do like elain and I think she has a lot of potential, I just think her and Az are to similar. They are both quite reserved and need someone who will break them out of their shell, because opposites attract. They both need a outgoing redhead (Lucien and gwyn). And I am also trash for elain and Lucien because reluctant soulmates, I mean kill me with that shit. Anyway i obviously don't own any of these characters they are from the Acotar series written by SJM.

Azriel believes nothing but darkness follows him. While his brothers begin to live their lives with love and happiness, Azriel feels nothing but empty, certain that happiness would never find him amongst the scars of his dark past. Gwyn has overcome the most horrific of traumas. And survived. Now that she has won the Blood Rite, she is determined to start living her life again. Even as her trauma continues to haunt her. Offered a position in the inner circle, Gwyn finds herself working alongside the mysterious Shadowsinger. As their work brings them closer together, they realize that, perhaps, all they need is each other to rid themselves of their darkness once and for all.

Follows story line of the ACOTAR series.... picks off right after ACOSF, so of course spoilers are meant to be said in this story. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover!
