George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

George has been raped in the past, causing him a big trauma. Five years later he still keeps it a secret, due to people not believing him. But when this happens again, George's YouTube channel starts to suffer under his major depression, his PTSD and anxiety. He cuts off all contact causing Dream to fly out to his house after he has to go to hospital. But to make everything worse, George stops talking because of his trauma. He appears to be completely muted suddenly... While George is live streaming, he accidentally outs himself in front of his whole stream. His life seems to be collapsing as his mother figures out the same thing as all his viewers did. George talks to his best friend, Dream, and decides to hopelessly ask to meet up with his "unknowing" best friend after his mother doesn't seem to want him in her house any longer. Dream, however, was watching George's stream as he outed himself and decides to not bring any of it up, realising George hides more and more from him.
