He must have imagined it, but he noticed an almost imperceptible shake in Xiao Zhan's hand just before grabbing the rubber band. "Thank you," he said, softly. Yibo felt the urge to leave before he started trying to explain to Xiao Zhan why he was doing this. He honestly didn't know. "I must go," he finally said. "I know. Take care," was Xiao Zhan's response, looking back and forth from the rubber band in his hand and Yibo's face. "Until next time," Yibo said before closing the door behind him. Xiao Zhan didn't leave the bed to see him out, still fascinated with the rubber band.
