Luz lived in the human world with no friends, and no soulmate. But what happens when she finds a portal to a new world and her ring finally appears. She started getting mentored in magic by Eda. Who had sighed her up for her up for her first day at Hexside. Who know's? Maybe her soulmate will be going to Hexside with her.

Luz thought it was finally time to leave the Boiling Isles and go back home. Once she got back, Camila didn't agree with her sneaking off for the Summer, so she sent Luz to what she thought was a Discipline School, but it wasn't. They lied, and Camila sent her child there. Years later when Luz was finally out, she couldn't bear to look at her mother. She grabbed her things while she was at work, and ran back to the portal, leaving her mother for possibly forever.

Luz brought Amity to the human world and then they got trapped there. Amity didn't mind though, she felt it was a great escape from her toxic parents and annoying siblings. After Boscha admits to Luz and Amity about her feelings for Willow, both Luz and Amity are angry. Amity saying that Boscha was a hypocrite. And Luz hating the idea of Boscha and Willow together, after how Boscha would treat her. Luz being fed up, she says things she would later regret. Putting Amity in tears. Amity out of frustration fires Luz and tells her to leave the next day Amity walks in and dosent see Luz annoyed she ask her secretary if Luz called in sick or something. her secretary telling her she fires Luz and Amity in shock.
