Pas de Deux (pawh-du-duh)
A dance for two
George is what we'd call a primo ballerino, or male principal dancer. He was considered a rising star in the academy. His dancing was comparable to a female in gracefulness and beauty.
Clay was another primo ballerino. But, he was one of the best at the academy and was known worldwide as "The Dream" or "Dream." His footwork lured an audience and his leaps amazed everyone.
When word got around that these two titans of ballet would perform a duet, it drew more crowds in. Not only that, but it drew the dancers close to one another.
