"Annabeth!" His voice echoed throughout her head. "Percy?" She called, hoping for an answer. Her face was tear stained and she still felt them rolling down her cheeks. He appeared in front of her, and she sobbed in relief to see that he was alive. "Why?" He asked quietly. "What?" "Why did you let me die, why did you let half the camp die? What about Jason, and Hazel? How do you live with the guilt of knowing that you could have prevented their deaths too?" His somber face turned into a sneer. "You're too selfish for your own good, Athena spawn." Annabeth stood stunned as her Seaweed Brain disappeared into darkness. "..P-Percy?" She cried. "Percy, I'm sorry. Percy, come back, I need you.
