This story takes place after season 8 of the vampire diaries. After Stefan died, Damon & Elena became human and Bonnie went to travel the world. Caroline felt alone. (There are no Hope, Lizzie and Josie). She knows that one day all of her friends would die and that she would be the one left alone. She decides to go to New Orleans... The Mikaelson family celebrate Hope's birthday when an unexpected gift is delivered for her. With no idea who it is from, they wait curiously and patiently for the sender to be revealed. Everyone believes that Klaus has never formed a bond like the one he has with Caroline.

After four years of searching for a cure for all the Mikaelsons, Hayley calls Caroline and tells her that Klaus has been a prisoner for four years and that she needs help. After 5x11 Klaus leaves like he promised and Caroline thought everything would go back to normal and be fine. But what She didn't account for was, -She can't take her mind off him, His touch, his smell, & those god damn dimples. -She's started to feel queasy lately and has no clue as to why being a vampire and all. (Klaus misses her as well if you hadn't guessed.) Couple things I'm changing : 1. Katherine didn't get fed the cure, but did kill Elena in defense. Also because Elena's super annoying. 2. Stefan didn't really care for her anymore (#Stebekah) and Damon went off somewhere no one knows. 3. Kol is Alive and so is Bonnie she got out of dark magic but not before she made herself immortal to stay with her vampire friends forever. (#Kennett) 4. Jeremy moved away from the supernatural drama and because Elena died. 5. Katherine has made friends with Caroline, Bonnie and Stefan. They all pretty much live at the Salvatore house. 6. The Originals went to New Orleans to take it back from Marcel and Reclaim their home. 7. Hayley and Tyler ran off together after Caroline found out he cheated on her. No one ever went looking for the cure and Silas never happened. Read to find how Klaus reacts to becoming a father and Where will Klaroline go from there?

When Caroline kidnapped Katherine and brought her down to New Orleans, it had been solely with the intention of getting her and Elijah back together. Even enemies deserve a happy ending. But then Katherine's dying, the Mikaelsons are waging war, and it looks like she'll be in the city for much longer than she had planned. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
