His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself. COMPLETED. Merlin thought his Soulpoetry, a "two sides" inscription on his sternum, was about his life, trying to hide his magic all the time. Arthur thought that his Soulpoetry, an "of the same coin" scrawl on the base of his fingers, referred to the fact that he led a very dull Pendragon life. Derek Hale is the black sheep of the family, always has been. That's why he moved to Seattle. Now he's got a job he loves, a nice apartment with an incredibly hot and endearing neighbor, Stiles Stilinski. Lancelot understands Merlin's secret more than Merlin would expect. Lancelot has his own secret and is forced to use painful methods to keep it that way. Then Gwaine finds out. Will be Gwaine x Lancelot later on. Starts before The Darkest Hour and ends after it but Lancelot didn't walk through the veil, another knight did, because let's face it, Lancelot is too awesome to kill.

I decided to expand on my Methur fanfic, and start their story from the very beginning. Merlin is a young warlock who somehow finds himself as the manservant to the prince of Camelot. At first, he cannot stand his princely employer, but when the two start to spend more time together they realise that there may be a fine line between disgust and desire. © 2014, Chiara Sullivan.
