Aileen hingegen ist ziemlich aufgedreht und wirkt sehr direkt. Sie wechselte wegen eines Umzugs. Dabei wechselt Leonora mit, indem sie zu ihrem Bruder zieht, der in der Nähe Ailleens zukünftiger Heimat wohnt. So konnten sie zusammen bleiben. Auf der neuen Schule finden sie schnell neue Freunde wie das goldenen Trio oder Luna. Zwei weitere wichtige Bezugspersonen sind Professor Snape und Draco Malfoy. Textstelle (Draco): Wir setzten uns aufs Sofa und ich entfachte ein Feuer im Kamin. Die anderen waren bereits in ihren Schlafsälen, also hatten wir unsere Ruhe, was eigentlich ganz schön war. Das Feuer nahm uns die Kälte und spendete uns Licht. Sie sah in die Flammen des Kamins, die sich in ihren himmelblauen Augen wieder spiegelten, wodurch diese zu funkeln begannen.
