Weder Sasori noch sein Partner können umhin der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen, denn eines ist klar: Irgendetwas stimmt mit dieser Stadt nicht in der sie sich befinden, nicht nur das weder Pein noch die anderen Mitglieder jemals von ihr gehört haben, auch die Einwohner scheinen alle samt ein dunkles Geheimnis mit sich rum zu schleppen. Und während Sasori nach Jahren der Gefühlskälte nicht nur das Gefühl der Angst wieder entdeckt, merkt er auch, das er nach so langer Zeit mit seinem blonden Weggefährten für diesen etwas mehr als Ignoranz und Abwertung aufbringt.
