But the fact that he has such a close relationship with Kyle Broflovski kind of changes their views, because everyone can see how in love they are with each other except for them.

Also Damian and Jon will be aged differently, now with only a one year difference between them. As with all my stories, if you have an idea and I particularly like it, I'll adapt and weave it into the story. Feel free to suggest things to me. I personally really like this ship and I am disappointed that they didn't have this dynamic continue and that they screwed with Jon so much. But I still have my own headcannon for all this and I don't read many recent DC comics anymore because of the lack of supersons (I know, petty, but I really freaking liked those two xD) I've always thought that Superboy and Robin were always destined to be friends... It just made sense... Anyway I hope you enjoy!
