My heart was broken per the season 1 book of Under the Oak Tree's cliffhanger. Until the 2nd book uploads/ English translation comes out in August, I figured I would create my own version of a book 2. My take on book 2 of "Under the Oak Tree" This is a fanfiction, and all original concepts, themes, and artwork belong to the original author. My heart was so broken after reading the first season, and I was not patient enough to wait for the English translation for book 2 to come out in August... that I decided to write my own version. I figured I would share it in hopes to help someone else get through the wait, and to help alleviate the heartbreak of the first seasons cliffhanger. This is going to start off very emotional and after chapter 10, we are going to see it pick up and start getting more intense. Although this is a fanfiction, I have heard a few things that are allegedly in the 2nd book, from those who have read it on Ridibooks. Although some of the scenarios might match the 2nd book from what I have read in comments and etc, it is in no way what is in the 2nd book, and again this is just a fanfiction, and all original concepts belong to the original author. If you have not read the first season, I suggest that you do before taking part in reading this fanfiction. I am going to start this right where Maxi and Princess Agnes are leaving on the boat towards the mage tower. After gaining some sensuous experience from the Calypse couple, Young Maxi is sent back to her wedding day. Will their wedding night go the same? Or perhaps with Maxi's new information and preparation, will they get the night they deserved?

Maxi and Riftan's peaceful lives in Anatol are about to have their very own surprise bundle of joy added to their little kingdom. An alternate universe retelling of Riftan and Maxi's wedding based in present day Anatol inspired by Kim Su-ji's Under the Oak Tree series. In this world Riftan Calypse (and the rest of the UTOT cast) are unaware that they may be a reincarnation of their past lives but they aren't aware fully aware of it. They know that they feel drawn to each other and drawn to the historic Anatol fortress that is now a public museum and park and event venue. This is where Riftan meets his now fiancé, Maximilian, a well known academic and researcher in their city. They feel as if they've known each other forever. This is the story of their modern wedding.

Alternate modern universe loosely following the structure of UTOT. Maxi lives with her half-sister Rosetta, father & stepmother on the sprawling Croyso Estate. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father married very soon after, his new wife having already given birth to Rosetta. Maxi is the oldest by 6 months, but her awkwardness embarrasses her father who favours her graceful younger sister. Rosetta is a social butterfly. Maxi is a moth.
