This short novel, 'Dark Souls: The First Flame', is a collection of short stories showing what Lordran, the city of lords, was like before the events of the original Dark Souls created by Fromsoftware. I am a long time fan of the series and have tried to include some of the lore, whilst creating my own bit of fiction around the four lords of the original game. None of these stories are cannon and are simply for a bit of fun.

I sacrificed everything to ally with the ancient dragons, and my punishment was being stripped of my god status, being expunged from history, and my name has been forgotten. I still remember my name, but my only friend is my storm drake. Nowadays I sit and protect my peak, Archdragon Peak, usually I kill all trespassers, but when four girls come to the peak, I simply couldn't bring myself to kill them. There was something about them that seemed inviting.
