She was born and identifies as a girl, but throughout her life, has been forced to pretend otherwise (*cough* Gabe *cough*). But Percy is done being Forced To Hide. Percy is female in this but is the ONLY character in this fanfiction with a different gender than in the books. This is Percabeth (PerciaxAnnabeth). Do not get Percy confused for a transgender person in this. She is not trans in this, though I probably will be coming up with a Percy Jackson fanfiction with a trans character sometime soon.
