Beast Wars opens at an unspecified time and place, where two warring factions of robots have crashed on a strange planet populated by animals like those on Earth. The planet abounds in mystery, with vast deposits of raw energon and evidence of alien activity. The Energon forces the newly arrived Transformers to take on protective beast forms to shield themselves from the ambient Energon radiation.

The story will take place on how the Prime Duo and Autobots will team up with a down on his luck young man, an aspiring historian and with a powerful faction of Transformers known as the Maximals to combat a sinister force: The Terracons and the chaos bringer Unicron from outer space that threatens the Earth and all of mankind.

Artimus and Optimus Primes along with Autobots are now embarking new challenges on earth with a little human girl named Sari She does what she can to help the transformers, but Megatron and his Decepticons are ruthless and determined to destroy the Autobots. Sari has the key an abilty to heal the autobots, they face any challenges they face and exploring the dynamics between Sari, earth and the Autobots would add depth, illustrating how they perceive her as a human child and what lessons they learn from her bravery and perspective.
